Black Tank flusher with no backflow

Our new 12 Flagstaff does not have a backflow preventer on the black tank flush. Was wondering if FR forgot it or just eliminated them. Our 08 had one.

I can't say that I've checked. Is it right at the backflush connection like the city water check valve?

Yes, but mine does not have a check valve to prevent water coming back in the hose.

they didn't put it in a vertical loop between the tank and the outside connection?

Not that I can see, it goes into the basement and then upstairs and disappears. Confusing to say the least.

Any chance that it's at the tank end?

Dave

Could be, but I'm not tearing into the belly pan to find out. I will call the dealer Mon and ask. May just buy a connection for the side with a check valve in it. Don't want to mess up my new X Hose.

that is similar to the way mine is. u have to remove the bottom enclosure to see it. I pulled the decking above and saw it. the valve itself reminds me of a vacuum breaker. it disappears thru the frame but the other side looks like that. (mine is 2002, they may have made changes sense then).
