Sounds like it won't help you at this point unless you end up buying a new tank but for future reference, on my Salem there is no glue where the pipe enters the tank. There is only the grey putty like you would seal a window with and it does not leak.

Slow going. Weather has not cooperated and some other projects had to get done. BUT am about ready to use special $$ 3M adhesive on the Poly tank to attach some ABS that I can then glue standard fittings to.

I am still interested in a backup plan which would probably mean a new tank. The problem is Camping World says that there are no replacement tanks available and aren't even any drawings or supplier info available. Their only suggestion was to order a custom tank which would take 4 to 6 weeks. Sounds like they just aren't interested.

I note that there are a number of smaller 21' to 24' Class-C with identical bathroom layout and similar size tanks (22 to 25 gal)

What I can't find out is who makes tanks for Forest River, Thor, Jayco or 4 Winds.

I can't believe that none of these companies are not making RVs right now.

Any ideas

I write a blog on RV tire application and safety.
Also give seminars on tires at RV events across the US. 40 years experience as tire design & quality engineer for major tire mfg. Freelander 23QB on Chevy chassis is my RV
