black tank rinser

Hi, Was looking to install a black tank rinser on my RV. I looked at the instructions on a tornado rinser and it says that you need to measure 2" down from the top of the tank to install the rinser. The problem is The tank sits on"L" rails at that measuement. There is no room on the front or back either. What are my options at this point? I have the 2014 Rockwood mini lite 2502S RV. Any body with this RV or the Flagstaff 25DS intalll a tank rinser in thier tank? Ideas please. Thanks

Put one on my previous camper. Same problem. RV tech said they just put it above the brace.

I drained the tank and removed a bolt to pull back the brace and installed.

Drill slower at the end and the plastic will stay in the hole saw. Just clean it off properly and seal it. Make sure it has time to cure before water gets to it. Think it was 24 hrs.

Total install took me maybe an hour with beer breaks. Wasn't bad. Wish I had done sooner.

just installed one on my mini lite 2104s. due to the frame it was pain to drill the hole. i used a dremmel with the angel head attachment to cut the whole. and its not 2" from the top. still works well and better than draging a hose into the tt and using a wand.
