black water lever

Once again I need to ask for some help. The black water lever will not go in all the way after I emptied it hence when left all fluids leaks out, leaving the tank dry. I have pushed will all my might.... I am a petite lady but pretty strong. I can not for the life of me close it completely. Any ideas why and how can I fix this. I am always careful to empty when full and I flush the black tank after every pull. Should I ask a strong man to push it in all the way or might it cause a bigger problem? If someone out there could advise me what to do I would sure appreciate it.My unit is a Cedar Creek 2009 RD5S and it is in a stationary position in a rv park on a lake. Sooo bringing in for repairs is near impossible. All ideas excepted and appreciated. Thank you I donít know where I would be without this wonderful support sight.
Mia

They do get stiff to operate after a while. There is such a thing at RV parts and accessories departments as "Dump Valve Lube" . Have never used it myself, but might be worth a try.

You might have a seal that has rolled because it was dried out if you get somebody to force it would only damage it more you might have to have the valve dissassbled and a new seal installed.

if you know for sure it is emptied out you could pull the piece apart - it has 4 bolts holding it together in a sandwich type configuration and check the seal - if the seal is damaged - I do know you can replace that piece from camping world.
