Black water tank flush

Last time out I emptied my blackwater tank, I used my blackwater flush by hooking a house to it with a pressure regulator. I let it run a few minutes then closed the valve and let it full for about a minute. Opened it and related this process a couple times. Everything was good,except when I went in the TH after finishing, I had water in the floor inside. Do I have a fitting leak or was I doing something wrong?

We have the same problem....any advice anyone....it would make flushing the black tank easier

Based on your description, I don't think you did anything wrong. You should not have water leakage while using the tank flush.

My trailer had a leaking back-flow valve in the sewer tank flush line. For me, it was behind the shower valve and leaked down to the pass through storage. I hear that these valves are more often under the bathroom sink though, so you may want to check that. Pressure testing the fresh water system is often done during PDI's, but I bet the tank flush is overlooked most of the time.

GreenImp, I have the same model I know where it is and tried to reach it, But it is to far down that wall to get at it when you remove the shower handles. Is your the same or do you have slack to pull it up if you needed to?....

Had same issue with my new 26DBH, it was leaking from the valve in-line from the sani-flush to the tank. It only leaked when I turned the water to the sani-flush off.

It is some sort of air intake valve. Took me about 5 minutes to change and about 15 minutes arguing with Camping World to give me the part under my warranty... If you have a plastic hose clamp on one of the fittings, I recommend changing it to a metal hose clamp. I had to grab one at my next stop.

Much easier to just locate the hoses, cut them and splice them together and eliminate the thing. Just make sure you have a backflow valve behind the inlet hose connection.

If it leaks again, that is what I'm going to do.

My friend and I both have the same V nose camper, mine a Flagstaff and his a Rockwood that he bought and used 3 weeks prior to when I got mine. He complained about this too. Dealer said the spraybar in the tank does a great job. My first trip, with the black dump open and flusher connected and on, what I observed was the noise of a hell of a lot of water flowing into the tank but not even close to that coming out the dump. Had always used a flush king on previous TTs and went back to it. After I did my normal proceedure with the flush king and went to using the built in rinser, it did what I think it was intended to do... rinse the tank out. I can't see how this rinser can build enough force to dislodge the poop & paper that could and would settle into the neck of the black tank where the flush king most definitely will push it back and reestablish flow. I think the leaky part is a vaccuum break that you are overloading. Think about it!

Seems to be a lot of issues with those black valves. This is what I have and no issues reported that I could find. There have been some that were installed over tightening the fittings.
