I guess I don't understand ? How did previous owner use this ??

Just seems like something has come loose.

That is the $64,000 question. I guess the only way to find out the whole story of this trailer would be to talk to the original owner.

You say that the hole into the holding tank is 4" away from the hole in the bottom of the toilet. Is the hole in the floor also 4" from the hole in the tank? If so either the tank moved or there was an elbow that is plugged or out of place. If the hole in the floor lines up with the hole in the tank, then the toilet is in the wrong spot. Are there any signs of old toilet mounting holes in the floor? Is the underside of the TT enclosed? If not can you see if the tank moved? You see lots of posts here where people get tired of dealing with problems and trade in for a new unit. Could be an old problem. I doubt if CW tried the toilet when taking a trade so they may not be aware. Even if it was a super deal and "as is", CW should have disclosed a major issue like the toilet not functioning.

I don't understand how the hole can be 4" away. Picturing my bathroom, if the hole was 4" away it wouldn't even be UNDER the toilet, it'd be in the middle of the bathroom floor.

A picture may very well be worth 1,000 (disgusting) words here.

My black tank "inlet" and toilet "oulet" are not aligned either my pipe runs at an angle, but I have no issues with tp or waste clogging.
We use PLENTY of water.

I'd definitely do that !
Of course all you'll "see" is the elbow of the pipe, looking down the toilet hole.

This line is confusing me. In my mind, I'm seeing a big gap between the hole in the floor and the hole in the tank and the waste is dropping onto the top of the tank.

That can't be what's happening can it?

That's why I posed a few questions in my previous post that have yet to be answered.

Yea... a few follow up comments and/or pictures from the OP would certainly help.

On my sunseeker it was a design flaw. The pipe between toilet and tank was not long enough, jarred loose, and I had the same result as you. Nasty!! I had longer pipe installed and it's fine now.

I have a feeling this is what happened.

I am willing to bet if you pretty much just copy and paste what you have already told us about the issue and what CW has said someone from CW corporate will be getting in contact with you. CW does not like bad press on rv.net.

Can the toilet be moved? Cut a new hole over the tank hole?
Good luck.

If so, how did you resolve it?
First CW has nothing to do with it, they did not build it, Now as far as FR not talking to you, I think you need to calm down and call them back and discuss this as it could be FR issue or it could be yours?

You say a 2014 how many times have you used the coach, how did you use the black tank (valve open or closed during use) and you your last part YES most anything can be fixed but you need to be understanding in what time it may take to fix the problem.

SO also have I very heard of such a thing NO, but that does not mean that the factory did not make a mistake either.

Good luck in your repairs and Happy Camping

Saying camping world has nothing to do with it is a bit of a stretch. It is very possible that they had no idea about it. Unless the previous owner told them about it, doing a number 2 in a toilet is not on any PDI I have ever done lol.

Regardless if it is Joes RVs or camping world I would expect help from them to get it resolved.

If the angel of the slope is too much for solids to flow down, I do not know who you could change that other then changing the location of the toilet which is not an option, or moving the tank. Like to hear answers to turbs questions as part of the statement sounds like the pipe is not connected at all well another part makes it sound like it is.

Thumbs down Same issue

Just bought the same model in March 2016, 2014 Shasta Oasis. First time out same problem. Waste will not flush.
Got home cleaned toilet and found some type of plastic structure below toilet opening. Forest River not being helpful. They claim they have never experienced this problem
