Black Water Tank Valve

Is there away to adjust the linkage? The valve does not shut off completely. There is always a small amount in the cap when connecting the drain hose.

Thanks in advance for any help.

HT, in 3 different trailers, I have never been able to adjust the valve on my TT's black water tanks. I don't know what kind of unit you have so can't offer any thoughts. There has always been extra room between the pull handle and the housing, so the darned thing just does not always seal all the way, or a seal is kinked, etc. Good luck finding a solution, I'd like to have one.

HT, do you have a RV with the dump valves on a cable? These are on RV's where the water connections and dump valves are inside a bay. If so, there may be movement of the cable when closing the valve. You will have to anchor the cable with clamps so it doesn't move. If you do a search on cable dump valves or dump valve cables you will find what others have done for the same problem.
