Black water vent

Has anyone had a problem with a vent pipe breaking or separating in the wall, I have a 2009 Rockwood Roo 183 and just returned to NY from Fl and since parking it the smell is awful. I pulled the toilet to make sure the seal was ok, the smell seems to be coming from the hole where the water line comes out of the wall. Thanks

Our neigbour just pulled a 12 inch long wasp nest out of his vent pipe. That cured his smell problem. Standing on a ladder he could see the wasps going under the rain cap. He waited till late in evening when all the uninvited guests were home gave a good spray under cap, removed it (there usually is a screw inder caulking in hole at top of cap) and pulled out nest with coat hanger.
Maybe this is your situation.

Maybe something crawled in there and died. You may have to take down the belly pan to look. Bummer.

I took it to the dealer and he called today and said that there was build up in the tank that he flushed out with high pressure, he thinks I have not been using enough water. He said the smell has already improved. just glad it didnt start smelling while I was in Florida.
