blue line valve

took delivery a new 3010DS 2 weeks ago first rip was to Daytona for bike week. everything went perfectly. got home and got it ready for another wave of snow and cold weather. one question and maybe the tech explained it but what is the valve on the blue line between the water filter and water pump?

It's the Fresh water tank drain. It drains the fresh tank.
You will see a low point line (red) under the rig near where the fresh line dumps. It may have just a screw on cap.

I'm not familiar with that model, but a drain between the filter and pump?

I may have responded too soon. If your unit is brand new, I think I read that they added the winterizing valve to allow the pump to draw antifreeze...?? My unit was built last August and only has the fresh drain valve there...

That was my first thought when I read the OP...that it would be the valve for sucking up the RV antifreeze. Is there a short piece of hose there as well coming off that valve?
