Sounds like you have but two choices. Pull the toilet up and remove the obstruction or take it to the dealer and have them do it.

If a septic tank is working properly you should be going 15 to 20 years between pump outs. every 5 to 6 years takes away from proper septic quality.

I think my Cherokee is straight in but my toilet I'd also fairly centered to the trailer and tank. My Rockwood had a "shelf" about 6" from the black look hole. Never had an issue just used as usual, lots of water and Scott's tp... No one ply.

Ours also recommends every three years. I do it every 5 or so years but use RID X every month.

I was told 20 some years ago NOT to add any chems,,, County Health Dept. recommended to let nature take it's course !!!
So we have never added anything,,, when we have our system pumped,,, the guy has always said the system is working well !!!

I would be afraid to go much over 6 years,,, don't need that crap backing up in my back yard !!!

Depends on the septic system...

I had a septic tank, and a grey field.

Toilet goes in the tank, everything else, drains into the field.
The septic is sealed, nothing drains off. So, it needed to be pumped every 4 months or so.

I have heard of systems like that,,, I think they use them where normal systems can not be installed,,, or as an option to a raised system ???
I believe that is the type system we would have had to install on our property up north on the Thunder Bay River !!!

Rid x is not a chemical. It is a natural bacteria that helps replaced the bacteria that house hold bleaches, laundry detergents, and other house hold products kill. The house hold products are the chemicals that need to be limited but is not practical if do any kind of cleaning.

Yes that has always made since to me !!!
But we have done well with out it for over 20 years,,,
No since changing now !!!

We use "RV Digest It" by Unique. Enzymes and bacteria will eat anything you put in the tank. No need for the expensive RV toilet paper.

1 ply TP is not very expensive,,, unless you buy it in a Camp Store !!!

While camping with some friends a couple of months ago one of the guys came over to ask if I had any idea of how to unstop the RV toilet. He explained that you could not put anything else into the toilet as it was "full". I had no idea of what he was talking about so I went to look. Using a flashlight and looking down into the toilet while the flapper thingy was open, with the water cut off, I could see what he was talking about--the toilet was full. I mean backed up clean to the bottom of the flapper valve thingy. After some questions we both realized the he had two of his g'kids with him who had never been camping and they thought the toilet was neat. They admitted to putting a lot of toilet paper into the toilet at that point. Luckily I had one of the toilet clean-out wands with me so we ran a hose into the bath area and started pushing/washing the mess out. He had a clear elbow on his waste line and I heard him laughing out loud and stated: "There's a ton of TP coming out of this line. We got it all cleaned out and working again then he held a class on how to use the camper toilet. Better yet he encouraged the kids to go to the bath house maybe 50 yards away. What we figured out was that the TP had built up, something like a pyramid shape, and just kept backing up until the water had no place to go. I take my three g'sons camping with us a lot and had never thought about them doing this so when we got back home I had my son bring them over and we held "camper toilet 101" class for them.

There are some pics on the second page of postings that shows what I found on our original potty. It had a large open body cavity between the bowl flapper and the hole in the floor. There were multiple flat horizontal surfaces that could hold stuff, just didn't seem right.
We have been happy with our new potty.

I remember several times I would go to someone's apartment,,, and have to remove the toilet so I could remove small toys from the stool,,, as I would leave if the mother was home I would show her the toys,,, one lady looked me straight in the eye and said,,, my kids do not play in the toilet,,, I told her then she better keep a eye on her husband !!! Yes she reported me for being rude !!! LOL !!!
