Cabinet

2012 Rockwood Windjammer 3008W

On last trip out the DW pointed out that the shelf in the cabinet over the Lazy Boy chairs was broken. I had a look and found that the very thin plywood was sagging. The nails had pulled out and the shelf was bowed down. I have made a repair for that area but find that there really is no support for the thin plywood shelf except 3/4" strip of wood against the wall and at the outer edge of the cabinet. The distance from the front to back of the cabinet is 15" and the cabinet is 6 1/2' long. It was the left end that pulled apart and there was no support strip from the front to the back of the cabinet. A brad nailer was used to secure the plywood to a 3/4" square piece of wood but that failed. I hope to add a few photos and wonder if anyone has a good solution to fix the problem. If I find one I will post it. Right now I need to figure out where to place the images to post here.

Try posting them as attachments. Click on the "Go Advanced" tab in the quick reply box & other opions will appear including the paperclip icon for attachments.

Thanks for your reply. I gave that a go, but no luck. I may create a web site and post them there and just add the url. Right now I sent this message and I am waiting for a reply.

Pictures are to big!
Try just one of your pics first.

I have that happen when I use my "fancy" camera and try to add 4 or 5 pics.

If I try to add pics using my android camera then no problem.

That worked okay, but I still can't seem to get the hang of adding them here. I reduced the size and have them in an album on the forum. That is about all I can do for now. I am stumped, so far.

Several times I got that message but it would work the next time I tried. In my case I was only previewing a reply (without pictures). The problem seem to had cleared on my end.

Sorry it didn't work for you.
