Campground Sewer Connection ???

We do most of our camping in Washington State Parks (campgrounds).. Most of these parks are dated and have older type sewer dump connections that are not user friendly to today's RV sewer connections and hoses.. The in ground connections (shown in attached photo) are parallel to the ground and the 90 degree ends on my Camco hose with threaded end fitting will not stay in the dump pipe. I have used duct tape to hold it in but on occasion the hose has fallen out. Other than switching brands of hoses, anyone have an idea or solution on how to adapt our hose to connect to this dump pipe?

I had one of those at CG, I unscrewed my hose and just shoved the end into it. It stayed ok with a few flat rocks for help.
