Hello all.
Yesterday and today, we experienced something new.
We turned on the switch for the propane to kick on the water heater, we heard the tick and light, and went on about our business. Five minutes later, the little light comes on and we hear the tick and light again. Ten minutes later, it happens again. We think, oh crap, we're gonna blow up!
So we turned it off and skipped showers yesterday. Checked the propane, seemed a little low, but not empty by any means, so we refilled it.
This morning, almost the same thing. Switch, tick, light, fine. Five minutes later, tick, light. Then it didn't happen again. Hubby took a shower, everything was fine. Waited the 30 minutes for the water heater to recover, hubby goes to work, I take a shower. About half way through, I hear the tick and light about three times! God please don't let me blow up while I'm in the shower!
Come on here, find lots of good info. Tried a few things. I'll give it a while to see if it worked. Meanwhile, I was wondering if the wind could be blowing the light out? It is super windy here today and the wind is blowing directly at the side of the TT where the water heater is.
Thoughts?
