can't drain fresh water

Hello All... We are first time 2007 Rockwood 2603 TT ownders and want to drain & then sanitize the fresh water tank. We followed all the directions re: stopcock, etc. But no luck. Former ownder says he just used it all up and dumped with grey water. Is this our only option? Is that blue tube which descends underneath possibly plugged?

That's possibly your low point drain to the water system. The actual FW drain may be somewhere else....

But where?

Follow the plumbing that comes out of the bottom of the tank. Somewhere between the tank and the pump (usually only a very short distance) you will find the drain valve. If you open it and nothing comes out, then maybe you can check from underneath and maybe a mud wasp or other insect built a nest in the drain tube....

Crawl under your unit and your drain tube/cockpit will probity come off the tank or tanks just inside the frame rail drivers side.

I having the same problem I have tried to drain my fresh tank according to rv dealer it's the one right below the fill it seemed to have pressure on it from the pump but after unscrewing cap got a little water but not much removed the caps on the lines below the sink a little came out when I opened the faucet but not much, thought possibly I was out of water so I filled the tank with caps removed and still no water drainage any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a 02 or 07 I would look very closely for a valve that you have to turn about 6 to 12 inches from the fresh water tank. It is very possible on those years that its on the inside of the RV. It may not be that easy to access in some cases. I have seen some that require you to be a contortionist.

Ok, so I guess the next question I have is where should that tank roughly be located I have an enclosed under belly and the fills in back but pumps in the front

your 2007's FW tank may be inside the trailer, in a cabinet.
our 2007's is.
there is a drain valve next to the internal FW tank and you pull up to drain.
the easiest thing to do is follow the external fill hose to the FW tank.

Well I couldn't find a cabinet with the tank traced the hoses from inside to where they go under the floor didn't feel like ripping up any floral figured I'd just use the pump Nd pump it into the grey tanks and dump turn the pump on and low and behold it starts pumping water out the drain tube or at least I think it's the drain tube at least the tanks empty now
