Changing out bathroom faucet fixture.

I have a DS 3010 Class C. There is a small leak from the hot water side under the sink. Is there anything special in replacing this item? I am fearful of damaging the connectors...they are exceptional tight. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Can you post a picture of the connectors to which you are referring? My faucet has a threaded nut that connects to a fitting connected to the water line. I found a washer was missing under the threaded nut. It didn't matter how much you tightened the nut it leaked until I inserted a washer.
