check valve in black water wash system

Does anyone know of a good check valve that is used in the flush system. Finding that the check valve is constantly getting stuck and no water getting thru.

Have you ever taken it apart and cleaned it out? Mine was full of sawdust, once cleaned it worked great.

There's no check valve. If there was, water would be trapped once the hose is disconnected and could possibly freeze. The flush piece just has a couple strategically placed holes that allow the water to spray in multiple directions. It doesn't take much to clog them off as stated by Avid. I guess it's possible that a little TP or other waste could be on the end if the tank was completely full and wasn't flushed, then dried.
Also as soon as the hose is disconnected the remaining water runs back out of the fitting. That's its normal operation.

The turbo flush system in our 5th wheel has a one way check valve located in the bathroom vanity near the top. It is plastic and easily broken.

Ours has PEX fittings that are crimped in place making replacement problematic. Some here have replaced it with brass.

I will do a search for the thread because he posted a link to the exact replacement he used.

No, he needs the one inside the camper and has PEX or 1/2 NPT fittings.

I found this photo on the internet. I will try to get one of mine today.
