Some wands are made to go straight down the pipe, others are made so that they will bend for those toilets that have a bend in the pipe.

dumping

Don't most campgrounds have dump stations?
Why can't you rinse and dump on the way INTO the campground?

i heard that using water softner salt diluted in hot water and then ice cubes will even take mopre stuff so this Canadian Thanksgiving we will try this again. and see what we get out for the last trip of the year.
I could be wrong,,, but I think most of us use a Water Conditioner,,,

The previous owners of a 2004 Rockwood stayed seven years in a RV park, kept lines attached and the waste gate valve open at all times --- not good. Over the years solids accumulated in the bottom of the black water tank. I am in my second year of ownership and still get "leftovers". Back-washing is working.

zalewskim, have you tried RV Digest-it? Following directions, it's supposed to turn everything into a liquid in 24 hours. I use it and find it works.

You asking about this one? I bought it here.

New start up company for buying things, they have an introductory free shipping and coupon saving of $15 with $35 purchase. A lot of people had complaints but I got my items right away.

we have a wand which we used in the last trailer we owned from new..
this trailer was a park baby and as such is still loosing some of its diaper dependancy...

last 4 trips out we've put water softner salt (liquidfied state) into hot water and flushed it into the tank just before we drove out...
not boiling hot but more like luke warm to assist in breaking down the solids.

drove to teh next location less than an hour away and after set up flushed the tank (3/4 filled it at the new site) and watched chunks that were not presently drained when we left our seasonal. seems to work fine

I'm still pretty sold on the Flush King. That with the addition of the spray bar that is built into this TT does a real respectable job. Never liked having to drag a hose into the TT to use the wand when I was at the dump station. Now, the way this TT is with the slides in kind of would negate the wand business anyway
