cloudy strainer

I just sanitized my travel trailer and after flushing I noticed my strainer is cloudy and I am not sure why. Everything I flushed was clear should I drain the water and pull the strainer?

You don't say what type/brand of travel trailer you have... but what are you calling a strainer?

What did you use for sanitizing and what was the mixture ratio?

Happened to me last year. Like the OP said, water ran clear out of the faucet. I just pulled the strainer cup off and cleaned it out, sanitized it and put it back together. Don't know what it was, but the stainless steel screen caught it.

Cloudy ? or are you seeing turbulence in the strainer due to flow thru the pump.

The bleach should be ok but you mixed it stronger than it needs to be. 1/4 cup of plain unscented bleach per 15 gallons. Unless you used the wrong type.

Use the plain (and generally least expensive) unscented household chlorine
bleach with at least 5% sodium hypochlorite found in supermarkets; do NOT
buy fresh scent, lemon or other scented chlorine products. Do not use bleach advertised as splash free or proof. Do not use either acid or alkaline bleach solution. Solution with pH 6-7 is best.
