Crusader 270 RET Plumbing

Opened up the access to the by-pass valve today..this is what I found, what a mess....looks as though I have some plumbing re-routing to do..The city water line came off at the access panel when I toched it, the hose is about three inch's to short...The heater ducts seem to be fine..

Yup 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag. Did they not do a pdi and hook everything up when you bought the trailer?

I was thinking the same thing.
These problems should be caught at the factory, but every PT dealer is required to do a PDI when they receive the unit. Apparently this one didn't.

LKicklight, did you have your dealer hook up the water when you did your PDI?
Not trying to put any blame on you in any way, just wondering.

Pdi

Evidently not, are we would not have found the gray water galley tank valve missing and the valve stuck the open position, that when I took the cap off to hook up my blue overflow tank all that galley wate would not have flowed out all over Skidaway Island State Park on Jan. 1, 2012...Heck of a way to find out the handle was missing from the galley dump valve huh.
Yep, PrimeTime should fix whatever problems I have without question...
Thanks for your support...RC Guy is giving me some information, but not what I want to hear!

Repairs

I am convinced that Forest River will do the right thing for everyone. They are a very large company with lots of RV's on the road and a lot to lose. The dealership that works our RV's is one of the best in the country and the mechanic that tools on our units is also a personnal friend, Zack is the best craftsman that I've ever seen, wish he worked for me. He is one talented young man. Whenever our either of our units go in, he is the one person we always ask for.
We have plenty of time to get whatever problems we have on the new Crusader ironed out in a timely manner.
Thanks for everyones comments on their respective units....
