Is there water in the fresh water tank? If you filled the HW tank with water from the fresh water tank, you could be o0ut of water. I know you said the fresh tank was full. Did you actually see the water in the tank? If your pump is not shutting off, it must not be getting water.

Ohhhh. Reread this thing again. The first time I read it I literally thought I was reading a riddle but it makes sense now. Kinda like how instructions make sense "after" you get something put together.

Just to note, when you are hooked to city water you do not need to run the pump. Pressure is supplied by the city hook-up. If you run the pump you are pulling from your fresh water tank.

When you were running the pump w/ the city water the pump would stop because the lines were pressurized by the outside connection.

Be sure to also check the bypass valves on you waterheater. Since you did not do the winterization you should check these also.

See this thread: Water heater bypass

Good information. Water heater is filled and I warmed her up via propane. I do have a question about the electric switch. When I turn that on do I have to have the hot water heater switch on for it to heat water via electricity? Can I have both on? Just curious. By hot water switch I mean the one inside the camper.

You can run both at the same time or one or the other.

If you have both the gas and electric switch on the inside of camper then the switch on the outside must be on to use the electric switch on the inside.

Okay..Mr Overkill here....

I have only one inside switch and one outside. Make any corrections to my analysis.

--> Inside ON / Outside OFF
Runs on Propane Only

--> Inside OFF / Outside ON
Runs on Electric Only

--> Inside ON / Outside ON
Runs on Propane If Not Hooked To Power.
Runs on Electric If Hooked to Power

--> Inside OFF / Outside OFF
The Flame Is Out

In my pictures I have Inside ON / Outside OFF which means it will run on propane only.
