Don't you already have a sewer hose?? That's all you really NEED if you have a site with a sewer connection.

Even if you get a site that doesn't have sewage hook ups you're gonna need a hose at the dump station. A sewer hose is a must have. If you have black/gray tanks

You need everything in the picture with the exception of the supports which are not needed, but a nice extra gadget to have if you want to slope your hose for some reason or other.

If you don't have them yet, may as well get them, including the screw-in elbow for the dump hole. More and more states seem to be demanding an air-tight connection.

Something not in the picture you need to get is a tapered rubber donut that will seal the sewer connections without threads.

Yes, I have the straight hose that came with the camper in the bumper.

John, I think you need to to watch the movie RV staring Robin Williams to get some pointers about sewer connections.. LOL

You need the hose, plus you need the connection that goes into the sewer pipe. Some are threaded and some are not. On the pic you posted you need the right angle connection on the right end of the hose pic and a sewer donut as Old Coot said.

Something I use is a flush king. This hooks to your sewer outlet on the trailer and has a hose connection so you can black flush your black tank. It also,has a clear elbow that allows you to see when your water runs clear..

we carry extra hoses - 2x 10 feet and 1x 20 feet in addition to the one in the bumper for sewer and an extra 25 for water and power. Nothing worse then getting nicely set in a site to find that one of the hoses are to short and you have to hitch up and move the trailer over a few feet to get one or more connections

For sites that the sewer outlet isn't threaded- this gives you an airtight seal between the elbow and the sewer connection.

Some campgrounds require them and just so happen to sell them in the store. :-)

I've used it 2 or 3 times and curse it every time!

1158 posts from you and you don't know what a sewer donut is for? Sorry, I thought you were joking around. Please accept my apology.

Now I will be serious with the topic.. The sewer donut goes into the sewer pipe at the campground. Some campgrounds don't have threaded connections and even if they do some require the donut to "make an airtight seal". The op was asking what he needed and he may or may not want to use one. So far, I have not but I have only been TT camping for about 8 months and I know what a sewer donut is for. I hope this helps...

John, Carry a hose to use only for your sewer duty. Now let me also say, the water area of any campsite is completely contaminated with the last 100 campers that were there. They may have used gloves to handle the sewer connections, but then they probably used the same gloved hand to turn the water off and deposited their stuff on the handle. Take a spray bottle of bleach and spray everything down before you touch it or realize that living is hazardous to your health..

Why not? It has a back-flow preventer. Where else would you hook in up to? It's no different than hooking a hose up to the black tank flush.
