I don't think most people missed it. It's no problem to be down to the rod anywhere as long as there is sufficient anode rod material anywhere.

Not even close, that looks almost new. It should have chunks out of it up and down, with the thin metal hardware showing in many areas before it needs changed.

So. My only concern was with the wear at the beginning of the annode...Sounds like it's a non-issue. I only pulled it out to drain the water heater for the winter. Thanks for the reply..
FYI. This has 2.5 years on it... Water stays in it all summer...

Do not think anyone missed it no need to waste the money .......... probably good for another year or two. If you do change it ship to me I'll use it for a couple more years .. I personally do not have $12 to waste.......
