Does this anode need replacing?

Does this annode rod need to be replaced? It's down to the rod by the top..

It does not need replacing, far from it! Why spend $$ on something that has 80% of it "life" left?

No. It could last a year or more depending water conditions. Your choice.

change at 75% gone or a little more. Yours is at around 1%.

No you have plenty of anode left . it doesn't hurt to have a spare on hand but no since replacing a perfectly good one . i''d say a yr or more depending on use

I went ahead and replaced it because of the chalky stuff was flaking off.
