Draining water tank

My fresh water tank does not have a low point. It has a drain but a lot of water is left in the tank when the drain is open.

Can you park the trailer such that the drain is lower than the rest of the tank?

I open my drain at the camp ground when we are leaving. By the time I get home it
has sloshed almost all the water out.

Caution-- it is against the law in some states to drain anything on the roadway. Even fresh water. If a trooper should happen to spot water dripping from your rig he/she -might- stop you. I'll take my chances but I'm just sayin.....

Fresh water tank

Thanks guys. I have a class A and have tried leaving the drain open. With the drain open there is still half inch of water remaining. The drain is on the siide of the tank.
