E-Pro Water Pump Running

I have a 2019 E Pro, and all of a sudden the water pump started running. My first thought was a leak, but I don't see any leaks. I can shut if off manually, but as soon as I flip the switch it runs again.

I have checked to make sure there is no water running inside, and everything is shut off.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks.

If your water tank gets low, the pump will stay on. You must have a pressure loss somewhere. I had leaks in my GeoPro in the water filter bay, all the braided hoses were improperly clamped and loose.

4 likely possibilities:
  • you are out of water in tank (suction side)
  • you have a vacuum leak (air leaking into suction side)
  • water pump is not building up pressure (pressure side leak)
  • pump not running long enough (pressure side, has to fill water heater if empty)
Did you open a faucet and see if any water is coming out when pump is running? If normal stream of water is coming out, that's an indication of pressure side leak. If faucet spurts, or just has air coming out, it's more likely to be a vacuum side leak.
