Electric/ propane water heater question

Will my water heater run on electric and propane at the same time? I run the heater on electric when on shore power, and it's plenty hot. Can also turn on the propane for quicker recovery so we can take longer showers?

Send a message via AIM to lakeeffect
I currently have a JAYCO 31BHDS and I can recover with both Electric and Gas. I try to stay on electric when on shore power.

We have a wildwood 32bhds and the kids don't like using the camp showers, but they do like staying in for 20 min. Thanks

I sure hope you are on a full hook up site? Military style showers only in my rig to save water and leave room in the tanks.

I end up at the shower house to save water for my girlfriend and i'm the one paying for the camper. Doesn't seem fair.

Full hook ups whenever we can. Where we are it's only a $5-$10 difference between a dry site and full hook ups. I'll spend $10 a night for full hook ups ALL DAY!!!

Yes you can run both. We have a 30A camper so most of the time we just use gas ( It does not use that much)

Well... Never mind...

Yes, let her use all the water.. In about 10 minutes you'll hear a shreak when the cold water hits and that will be the last time she takes a long shower....

Self correcting problem.
