Fill fresh water tank - Rockwood 8319SS

We recently purchased a 2010 Rockwood 8319SS and have a basic question that maybe some of you veterans can help with. There is no "gravity feed" inlet to fill the fresh water tank...all we have are hookups labelled "city water" and "sewer flush." No mention of how to fill the fresh water tank in the owner's manual, and our local dealer is scratching his head and shrugging his shoulders. Anyone know what I'm not seeing? Does the city water hookup also fill the fresh tank somehow (it doesn't that I can see)? Is there a valve somewhere that I haven't found? Thanks in advance for helping!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the 'new to you' camper.

Are you sure you don't have a FW fill like this link... JR Colonial White Gravity Water Dish - Water Tank Inlet - Water Inlets - Fresh Water Connection - Plumbing

Gotta be a valve somewhere, maybe in the bathroom, but it should be clearly marked, so maybe not.

Dave - I found it! Have more than a little egg on my face, but I do have a pretty good excuse...it's behind the spare tire. Who'd a thunk to look there? Guess if I ever need to fill it up I'll have to remove the spare. Don't know who the engineering genius was who thought that one up...maybe the spare carrier was installed at a later date? Thanks for your help!

Just move you spare tire bracket to the left on the bumper so it clears the fresh water fill.

I'll move it when it warms up a bit...I'm just happy that I found the filler that was well hidden behind it!
