Fresh water holding tank bracket bent

Just crawled under 2015 21fbrs. One of the Fresh water tank brackets is bent. I keep 1/3 full for our last 2 trips 2000 miles total. Guess I'll beef it up at the shop.

Seems to be the issue of the year, I just put in 5-10 gallons before a trip.

Our Work & Play had a similar issue. But we still haul 110 gallons of water to every race usually 200-300 miles. No problems at all.

We 2013 2109S with the same issue. There has been several threads with similar problems. May want to also be sure the vent line towards the top of the tank is up against the bottom of the floor. I saw a thread purtaining to this about the vent and it was also some of our problem. It was looped down and fill with water and not let the air out.

Full tank

I remember now. We went from Columbus Belmont state park to race Duquoin. I filled the tank. It was only about 2 hrs up. That probably is when it happened. 37 gal. The factory pre stamped the material so they could add cross supports and could use the same piece front or rear. Just poor design. I can fix it better than a rv tech. Hell I build race cars for a living!

I had the angle iron beefed up and steel plates welded across the bottom of the tank on mine.

It's a Warranty issue

I had the same issue on my '14 21DS. The dealer fixed it under warranty. It's ok now.

our 2014 had the same issue, thought they would have solved the problem by now. I don't understand the RV industry I guess they know most of us will go ahead and fix these issues. One would think they would take a little more pride in their work.

Yep, typical problem on TT. When I had my Rockwood 2902SS I filed the tank and it fell out. I replaced the thin angle irons (the ones with the slots in it to make them bend easier) with steel angles.
