Fresh water plumbing

I'm a new owner of a Rockwood Premier 1904. I've been out twice now and have always used the "city water" hook-up. Now I'm on my third outing and have to use the fresh water tank and pump. No problem... filled up the tank cracked the faucets turned on the pump... air gets bled out and have decent pressure BUT noticed water just pouring out the "city water" hook-up connection. What's up with this? Shouldn't there be a check valve of some kind?

Welcome to FRF.

The city water connection does indeed have a check, and it's stuck open. Attach to city water again and pressurize it. Sometimes this will correct the problem. If not, try to remove the screen and push on the check to either dislodge it. It that doesn't work, you may need to replace the connection or add one of these.
