Angry Fresh water tank came loose

I have a 2009 Forest River Stealth Toy hauler that I have owned for one year and four months, so far I have noticed that the quality of the build is way less than I expected. I have used this toy hauler four times since I have owned it, it mostly sits in my backyard collecting dust. I finally took it out last weekend to Northern California (i live in S. Ca.) and on my way back home on the five freeway I heard a noise that sounded like chains draging. I pulled over and saw that the strap that holds the fresh water tank had come off at the weld. I tied the strap up and continued home I took the trailer into Giant RV where I bought it and they looked at it and said the problem is bigger than just a bad weld. The frame is cracked! I have not seen it but that sounds very scary to me all I could think was how lucky I am that it didn't brake in half when I was towing it with my kids in the truck. Giant RV says they wont touch it because its a liability and they are waiting for Forest River to say what they want to do about it. My warranty is over by 4 months does any one know if Forest River should cover this? It seems like something that they should take care of but I am still waiting on a answer from them does any one have any sugestions on what I should do?

Welcome to the forum Luis. I moved your post to give it it's own thread. I think you will get better feedback than piggybacking on an old one.

Luis, If I were you I'd call Forest River myself.
Tell them the situation. I believe they will back you on a broken
frame. Photos will need to be taken etc.
Here are a bunch of phone numbers.
I believe a phone call is better than an e-mail if you can get
them on the phone.

Good Luck!!!
Keep us posted on their response.
