Fresh Water Tank Drain Valve Replacement

Has anyone replaced the drain valve on the fresh water tank? We have a 2009 Rockwood 8319 and the drain valve handle has broken off making it difficult to open and close the valve. Both Camping World and our local RV dealer sell a universal drain valve but it doesn't fit our model.

On my previous TT, I replaced the freshwater tank drain with a brass house type unit. It was the 1/4 turn open/close type. It mounted on a bracket below the skirting on my unit. I got it at Home Depot. All you need is the drain spigot and the brass barb that screws into the backside of it that goes into the tubing from the tank. If yours mounts to the side of your unit and not below it, I don't think this replacement would work for you.
