fresh water tank fill

Hi. Its my first time with a camper- I have a 2012 Viper XLR and I can't figure out how to add bleach to the fresh water tank. There are two hose connections, one for antifreeze, other has a regulator in it, and a switch for fresh water fill or city water. Tried a funnel and hose with the switch in the fresh water fill position but nothing seemed to go into the tank. Am I missing another access point?
Thanks

With the hose not connected to the RV, drain it, then pour the bleach into the hose while holding it so the bleach doesn't run out. Connect it to the tank fill, then use city water pressure to push it into the tank. Do it as many times as you need to get the correct amount of bleach into your tank.

If you have a water filter, remove it. It may have charcoal which would absorb the bleach.
