Fresh Water tank not fully draining

I have a 2018 Wolf Pup 16bhs. I have noticed when I go to empty my fresh water tank there is still 1-2 inch of water even after using the drain value on the bottom of the tank. Is this normal? Can this water stay in the bottom over winter? If not what is the best way to remove the water?

Leave the drain open all winter and you'll be fine.
IF you can remember and open the drain on the way home from your last outing it
will slosh and get a lot more out but some years I do that and some I forget and just
leave the drain open.
