I am guessing that I can buy the water tank freshener called "taste pure" at camping world?
I buy it at Walmart along with my holding tank chemicals and also the silicone dry lube for the slides and leveler arms.

You can buy a fitting at most RV supply stores that screws into the city water inlet and has a tire stem in the middle of it. You use a clamp on hose chuck which can be clamped to the valve stem so you don't have to have anyone stand there and hold it.
This sounds like it would be much easier than dealing with winterizing chemicals. Here 20 below is pretty much expected during the winter and I don't like the idea of relying on a concentration of chemical. We plug in our cars overnight and many parking spaces (like at schools) have plugs so you can plug your vehicle in there as well during the day. I'm also not keen on adding more chemicals to our diets - no matter how much rinsing is it really all gone? So this is useful information. Thank you.
