fresh water won't pressurize- newbie help

Hello....

I have a brand new Berkshire 390BH. Took it out first the first time last weekend. I have two questions I need help with:

1. City water worked great. However, when I filled the tank and turned on the pump, the system would not pressurize and the pump kept running. I think I missed a step in de-winterizing. Ideas?

2. During the walkthrough at the dealer, I remember them showing me a tube that sucks up the anti-freeze for winterizing. It makes sense that this would be connected to the water pump. However, I can't find either! Help.

Thanks,
Dwight Matheny

I have a different unit but since yours is new I'll have a go. You likely have not turned the valve on the winterized kit back and so can't draw water. It's probably in your docking station area and has a sticker beside it ' turn to winterize' or something similar. The tube for antifreeze is also likely in this area and labeled antifreeze inlet. It may have a black cap on it. The tube may be pushed in all the way and you cant see it. Look for the cap and pull the hose out. Hope it's some help.

Some times opening one of you low point drains will allow it to draw water from your tank.
