Full Hookup Equipment

Have never used a full hookup site yet. For the black and gray water, am I going to need anything more than the hose that came with my camper? Perhaps some type of special fitting?

It's the same concept as regular dumping, you just don't have to move your camper before you do so. You will want to fill the tanks as usual. Never just open the levers and let it run out our your "stuff" will sit in the black tank and not flush out. The real benefit to this type of site it that you don't have to wait in line and if you fill up before your trip is over you can dump and start again without breaking camp or hauling or being pumped.

if you can post some pics of what you do have...you may want the screw -in adapter that your sewer hose will attach to in the ground end..you want white colored water hose for city water hook-ups... i use a green garden hose for the black tank flush when i dump after a few days..i will usually turn on the blank tank flush hose and let it run 2 minutes...the. pull the handle and dump the black stuff first...watch for the water to clear up at the see-thru elbow..close the black tank handle ..and let some extra water into the black tank ..again 2-3 minutes..then shut of the black water rinse..next dump the galley water..then close that valve..and last the shower water for a rinse.. i close all my valves when done..hope this helps

On full hook up sites there will be a 4" pvc pipe sticking out of the ground on your site. I use my standard hoses but I did buy a 90 degree elbow to use on the end of the sewer hose to go into the 4" pvc. That way, it kind of seals the stink in the pipe. Make sure to leave the black & gray valves closed until the tank is full, then empty the black tank and flush the hose with the gray tank. Repeat as needed.

For full hook up some site needs to have an adapter like the one in the link below to hook up to the sewage outlet of the campground, other don't. Also usually the hose that comes from the dealer is not the best, this one is excellent......

I have 2 gray water tanks and one black water. Grey water one for Galley which close, the other is the shower only, which I leave open. The galley tank shut off is just above the black tank shut off. I have everything piped in with 3" PVC utilizing the clear clean out elbow at the black water connection. From there I follow the same procedure as Dretired. I know some folks at our campground have removed the black tank and have gone to a direct flush toilet using an american standard toilet. It seems to work well for them. happy flushing!
