Question GEO method question

Ok, done with our on the road and settled in yesterday for about 4 months in a campground while house is being built.

We have been using the Geo method, and alone with double flushing when dumping, black tank is pure.

Do I need to do anything different in treating the black tank while camped long term and no on the road sloshing?

Leave plenty of water in the tank after the flush, flush vigorously. Consider installing a really good spray flush system and use a wand in the toilet occasionally to keep the residue down to a minimum.

Garbanz, thanks. We have the hose connectIon to flush out tank.

After emptying, I fill for 4 minutes, drain and then Donita again.

Ithen add about 45 seconds of water an DW treats it with the carbon and fab.

From what you are saying it should be ok even if not traveling.

So we used the Geo Method for the first time adding the water, Calgon and (laundry detergent, black only) to wash our tanks on our way to Jasper. Both tanks where reading empty to begin with but when we get here they both read full...what gives? is this normal

My only guess is that the sloshing may have broken some paper loose and got hung up n the sensor. Isnthe second tank also a black tank?

No the second tank is the grey so there's no paper in it. We're going to dump them in a couple of days and see if they clear. We used a liquid detergent is this maybe the problem?

Well she's all good, the black cleared with the dump & flush, the grey on the other hand proved to be a little stubborn and we had to fill and drain the tub 3 times into it before it cleared... Back to drinking beer
