We purchased our trailer brand new and it has spent more time in the shop then in a campground. We have been plagued by a leak in our gray water tank that had been "fixed" three times now. Camping now and guess what? Water running out of the underbelly when the gray tank hits close to 100% full....trying to keep it under the 50% full marks, but missed it....no water in the trailer, but underneath.

If it only leaks when close to 100% full, it could be either the vent that is leaking or one of the drain lines.

I know it should not leak and you wish to get it fixed but to me this would be a minor inconvenience considering all the other problems that an RV can have.
As you said, if it is only when it is full, then it might not create a huge problem since you may be emptying it periodically before it hits full.
Vin.

Not a minor inconvenience when it's dropping the underbelly and soaking the insulation....they have tried to fix it 3 times, now I'm looking to see if anyone else is having the same issue or has and has a solution.....on top of this, the fridge didn't work, the floor is coming up and one wall is separating....not minor issues

So sorry. Did not realize you had an insulated and sealed underbelly.
I made a typical amateur mistake to "make and ass out of me - Assume". I projected that you had exposed grey tanks underneath. Totally different situation with a sealed underbelly.
I totally agree with you.
Sorry if my comments were disrespectful. That was not my intent and came from a place of ignorance rather than malice.
Vin.

No worries, every trailer is different...the sealed insulated underbelly is a must in Canada for camping into late October...

Check your drain fittings and air inducer valves for leakage.

So it's off to rv rehab....was told yesterday it will be gone until spring....back wall needs replaced, linoleum floor needs to be replaced and possibly the whole shower/tub.....I think the dealership/manufacturer should just replace the trailer I mean it's one year old and needs major work.....not impressed

That is aweful that such a new unit needs such major repair. Hopefully your monitor panel is accurate. I just spent 2 half days working on my galley tank that all of a sudden showed full when it was empty. Troubleshot wiring ok, cleaned tank same problem now were cleaning tank with a sensor cleaner... I all but gave up because the problems kept domino ing...
Good luck!

If they're sending it back to the factory for the repairs, that's actually a good thing.
The factory will fix anything you've found plus anything they find. It will actually be better than a new unit.
I know it's off putting, but once it's all done it'll be much better.

When you say that one wall is separating what exactly is it doing? Is it delaminating?

No, it is an inside wall that apparently was not fastened properly where two pieces come together...so they have to take the interior wall down to fix it

That's not a huge problem to fix. They should be able to handle that satisfactorily.
Maybe they'll take care of all the issues and you'll have a good rest of your ownership.
