Grey water and Galley tanks
I have a 2019 Wildwood 353FLFB. My question is I have 2 grey water tanks and 1 dump valve. My bathroom sinks backs up all the time while my kitchen sink is fine. How can I have 2 separate holding tanks and only one dump valve. Any help is appreciated.

It is my guess that you have another dump valve you just haven’t found yet. Are your two grey tanks separated by a significant distance?

Did your dealer not show you how to dump your tanks? Shame on them if they didn't.

My dealer had no idea I had a second set of valves.

not to cause a problem but how do you know you have two grey tanks? how many actual sewer hose connections do you have? have you counted the actual drain pipes that go to the sewer connections?

Our 2020 Wildwood 27rei has a similar setup. The galley tank captures the waste from the sink. The grey water tank captures the shower and bathroom sink. The galley can be emptied at any time as it is after the 3” waste valve.
The problem is that the grey water valve is before the 3” waste valve.
So in a couple of days the grey tank is full whereas the waste tank might be 1/3: but you have to open the waste valve in order to empty the grey tank.

That's insanity. I think I'd be pushing for a warranty fix of another gate valve.

That does not make sense. That design engineer was either drunk or had the custodian figure that drain out.

My 2018 Coachmen Adrenaline 26CB had one black and two gray dump valves. The one was about 4-5 feet further away from the dump area.

Accor to the FR website this unit only has 40 gallons of grey water capacity that probably means 1 grey tank. Seems odd on a park model but maybe not. Gonna be parked at a sewer hookup, no dry camping.

Aha! But can you not open the grey valve and 3" waste line with the outlet capped and simply transfer grey water to the waste tank?

Thanks for all the feed back. On my control panel I have a grey tank and galley tank, There is 1 light for each tank. That is why I think there are 2 tanks. When the dealer set up the trailer and installed the permanent sewer pipe, only installed at one location. I haven't been able to find another waste valve.
Another thing that has happened 2 times know. One time while in the shower the water got extremely hot and I mean hot. I jumped out of the shower and water was spurting out of the drain in the sink. The second time I went into the washroom and there was water all over the sink and up the wall and on the mirror above the sink. I have no idea what is causing this.

x2
My gray and black tanks both drain at the same spot, at the back. But they each have their own waste valve.
My galley tank drains in a separate spot ahead of the axles.

I bet if the custodian figured it out it would work right.

Many RVs have the same board even though they actually only have one gray tank, even though the board shows two gray tanks.
Mine is that way.

That's definitely not safe. Something is obviously wrong with that hot water heater to get extremely hot. The spurting out of the sink 'could' be caused by a clogged vent. Or there could be some clogged plumbing problem.
I think you need to contact the dealer or Forest River about getting someone out their to fix these problems.

Hi Debbie, if you posted a few photos it would be helpful. 1 photo of the panel. Other photo/s of your tank dump valves. Question: is there a decal or decals on the side of the trailer that identify the location of valve/s?

I am guessing here our Wildwood has two grey tanks (Grey and Galley) and of course the black tank. Our grey tank(s) both empty from the same valve. and of course the black tank has its own valve.
I do not think that you have an enclosed underbelly so it should be easy enough to crawl under and count the tanks and follow the lines. One tank should also be the fresh water tank.
My guess is though, that you have a vent issue with the grey tank if water sprays out of the sink drain. I also am thinking that it does it when the tank is getting close to being full.

I looked up the specs. for a Wildwood 353FLFB if I see this correctly your grey capacity is only 40 gals. while most of the other are 90 gals. my vote is your model has one tank.
But as mentioned photos would be helpful.
