Heated Tank Switch

Hello
I'm new to this forum so please excuse the "newbe" errors.
I just bought a new Coachman Prism 2150LE. The dealer I bought it from has not been the greatest as far as help over the phone goes. The RV has heated tanks and all I wanted to know is how do I turn them on? Is there a switch or do they go on automatically? I haven't been able to find anything out with the manuals I got with it. Please help!!

There should be a rocker switch up on your control panel. These are not automatic. The dealer didn't go over this during the walk through? If not, time for a new dealer.

Good luck,
Don

You should have a rocker switch to turn them on, they have a sensor and will only come on at 40 degrees and heat them to 60 and then cycle on and off. They pull between 6 to 8 amps so you want to be plugged in when you use them. You should also have heat tape wrapped at your valves so they will not freeze. hope that helps....

Look down in this thread to see a pic I posted when someone else asked the same questions. The top switch with the red light is it.
