Help?!

There is hot water coming out of my cold tap in the sink. What might be Happening?

I am going with the water heater bypass valve in in the wrong positions.

Or your shower or outside shower with hot and cold on but the little shutoff button closing flow off. That allows hot water to go back thru the cold lines.

Or they are plumbed backward. What is happening from your other sink and your shower? Are they correct or same issue everywhere?

Does it stay hot or is it just a slug of hot water then gets cold?

Would stay warm if it's what I said. What do you have though? Stays hot or just hot at first?
