Help!!! Leaking water.

Hi all,

I am relatively new to RVing so excuse my lack on knowledge. We just got back from camping and on the last night there I found water in the floor just outside the bathroom. It seemed to be coming from between the wall on the shower. I cannot find any actual damage at this point but want to repair ASAP. I am curious about one thing though. We have never had an issue before and I find no leaks now, I noticed my wife had over used the Grey water tank and the tank was full and she was still washing dishes. Is it possible that the over full tank was the cause?? I could wipe it up, not run any water and about while later I found more. No issues since dumping.

Thanks,

Probably answered your own question. If the gray tank is full, water will get out the lowest point, the shower drain. Don't know if your shower has a pan or whatever for a floor, but that should have been full also, possibly overflowing, and creating the problem. You may have a shower pan leak that needs attention. good Luck.

Do you have glass enclosure panels on your shower? Check that first - we had a leak over Memorial Day weekend - water was leaking out from under the glass enclosure frame.

Ours just needs to be caulked. You just gave me a reminder that I need to caulk this week before we take it out for 4th of July. Thanks for the reminder!

We recently had an over full grey water tank. The water did come up from the shower first as we were also slight un-level with a cant to the rear.
