Help Very weird Problem

My wife and I are new to rving and purchased a Silverback 33RE last week and other than a couple of trim issues all was well until yesterday. We just emptied the grey tanks and then used the restroom and shortly after the unit filled with odor and the vinyl floors had a pocket of air under them in the hall and in the kitchen like they had an air cushion under them. The black tank was only 1/3 full. I filled the tank with water and then drained it and aired out the unit. After this the floors went back to normal, does anyone know what caused this?

I suspect you were pulling a vacuum in the trailer with the fantastic fan.

I'm not familiar with your camper, but the post above about the fantastic fan,.. it can really suck. A few weeks ago we had it on in our pop-up, but my wife closed the canvas vent over the bed cause she was cold. I got up and I was wondering why the vinyl windows were bulging inward,... nearly 1 1/2 inches! I could press on them like a bubble. I opened the camper door to go outside and see and WHOOSH! the air flew in!

That fantastic fan created such a negative pressure it was sucking in on the sides of the canvas!

I have tried both of the fantastic fans and they do pull up on the flooring. Is this a problem or is it normal? I am afraid it will stretch the flooring. What good are they if you can't use them without it affecting something else.

Welcome to the wonderful world of RVing! Learning is all part of the fun. I have an opinion about the fantastic fans, but mind you, it is only my opinion. I believe their purpose is to help create a breeze in the camper and not just to draw out stale air or odors. When I turn mine on, I always open a window or open the other vents that don't have fans. This creates a really nice breeze and if there happens to be an odor, it takes care of that too! I hope this helps. Happy Camping!
