Trailer is still winterized. A few days ago I plugged it into shore power to have lights while working inside, I made sure the water pump and water heater were still turned off. The batteries were in and the battery cutoff switch was on, in order to be able to turn on the lights. Today, I opened the water heater compartment to check the anode rod and could feel that the water heater was a bit warm to touch. It is still quite cool out and it is not in the sun! Could the water heater be on, even though it is not turned on? The propane is off also. Can't remember how the heater was left, set to propane or electric. I also noticed when I put the batteries in and turned on the battery switch that a bit of water and air spurted out of the taps for a few seconds. Again, the water pump was definitely off and I did not hear it turn on. Am I missing something important here? Are the "off" switches not really "off"? Have I fried my heater? I have unplugged the trailer and turned off batteries and will see how the water tank feels tomorrow. Guess I won't know for sure until I try to heat water!
Any and all suggestions welcome!
