Holy water pressure Batman...

This past week I was on Amazon.com buying a couple things for the camper, another 25ft water hose, a new water pressure regulator, just some basic odds and ends. One of the things that came up as frequently bought with the water pressure regulator was a water pressure gauge for $4.99, so I bought it. Once I got my package I decided to check the water pressure here at my house, we are on city water which is usually regulated around 50-60 psi. The gauge said 74psi! I put the Camco regulator on, which is suppose to be pre set to 45-50 psi, and then checked the pressure again and it said 44psi.

I called a good buddy who is a master plumber in the area and he couldn't believe what pressure I had, he stopped down 2 days later with his gauge and he tested it at 75 psi. He was going to check with the water department to let them know about the high pressure to they could regulate it back down before someone around had an issue.
