There's a backup system you can use. If you're in the shower and the water won't go down the drain, your gray tank is full. Never mind how you tell about the black tank.

I have heard about that backup system.
Seems a lot more reliable than the primary types...

I installed the Horst probes while we where at a campground one day. Took all of 20 minutes. They sure work great! Highly recommended. Too bad they don't put them on all RVs as a standard factory item.

If I had one piece of advice, it is that the wire that attaches to the connector that goes onto the sensor is a rather small gauge and is fragile. Make sure you don't twist the wire or put strain on it while taking it off the old sensor or hooking up the new one.

If buying on Amazon, gotta watch that you do not get a factory warranty sometimes and there is NO customer service number to call if you have any issues. We've cooled off on Amazon now because of this.
