Hot/Cold water surge

I'm hoping someone can help me here. When I try to get warm water either from the shower or faucet, it purges between extreme cold and extreme hot, never a constant temperature. What do you think would cause this? The trailer is a 2014 stealth sa2515.

This usually happens when the water bypass valves are not in the correct open/shut configuration.

Al has a great diagram in the thread below to show the valves in the Bypass configuration. Your's should be in the opposite configuration for proper flow.

If you have a 3 valve system they should look like this for summer operation.

Thanks for the picture! I had the bottom cold valve closed, the middle valve open and the top/hot valve open. I changed it, hope this fixes it!
