I am with you now. That "little puppy" is one thing that was pointed out to us at our PDI.

I think that perhaps an information placard/sticker could be affixed somewhere close to the pin so some people could see it, although as I have said here before - just seeing a pin going though the switch should be enought to give some sort of warning that you don't just pull the pin and hit the switch. Or if not that, put a placard next to the inside WH switch urging caution - similar to the one advising you to check before moving the slides in or out.
I am glad that some of these people don't work on airplanes

here is my panel .
as you can see the first one is wp second is gas rocker is lit and dsi is lit the third one is electric and the rocker is lit when on . And also it does not matter what position the "outside switch is in it does not work .
which is why I keep saying that on newer models it isn't necessarily so, that the switch outside will work .

I learn something new every time I log on here.

Here is my control panel. Pretty basic compared to yours.

BTW, the lighted switch to the right of the water heater switch that says "Tank Heater" is for the 12 volts to the holding tank warmers.

loved every minute of my flagstaff for 6 years . dw almost cried when we left it at the dealer .
