There is absolutely no excuse for this shoddy treatment from a dealer you paid thousands of "not neccessary" dollars to. How many "I can't get hot water" posts have we seen from first time buyers in the last month?

Not until dealers learn that outstanding customer service and a properly conducted PDI by a qualified technician (one who cares) is done with EVERY customer newbe or not, will we have no more reason to here.
