Hot water heater-white plastic particles
When draining the hot water heater, I have a lot (and I mean a lot) of white stuff draining with the water. They look like piece of white plastic, but the minute you pick one up they dissolve into nothing.
Most that come out, when they hit the asphalt they just shatter into hundreds of other particles.
Is this an inner lining that is dissolving?

mineral deposits in water heater. Need to change anode rod and flush tank out while rod is out.

Anode is almost new. Been flushing, but this stuff is flat, which is what makes me wonder what it is.

Calcium or other mineral deposits . The amount will vary with the quality of the water. If you are getting a lot, I would drain after ever 1 or 2 trips.

The Real RV name of this "Stuff" is White Crap or Crud" I have never see a A-Rod removed after Some use that did not have "Crap or Crud" flow out also!  Youroo!!

Calcium deposit. Remove the electric element (if equiped) to see deposit buildup on bottom of tank. Veneger will desolve it.

I'm thinking it may also be some of the anode rod disolving. I don't like the idea of any of that being sucked into my plumbing, so I drain the water heater after each use. Before I leave, I'll just hold a garden hose tightly up against the anode rod opening with the relief valve closed and the heater in bypass for about 30 seconds. Yank the hose out of the way (make real sure you're not standing in the way or you'll get wet) and the pressure will blow anything loose out. I do that two or three times before installing the rod and putting it back in service. You could use one of those tank wands too, but this does the job well enough.

I wouldn't remove the electrical heating element... no need. I'd remove the anode rod which the OP is surely doing to drain the heater.

That stuff will eventually clog your sink aerator. You may also have it in your home water heater. Changing from an aluminum rod to magnesium is reported to prevent it but i haven't tried it yet.

It could easily be calcium; since the water here is very high in calcium; never thought about it. Just never saw it cake up like that. However, after flushing for over an hour this AM; it appears to be running clean. But that would explain why it just dissolves when touched.

Use a washing machine supply hose cut in half,use one half placed into the A-Rod opening! Give the other half to a RV friend so they can "De Crud" their W/H also!  Youroo!!

Hi, I have a question for you. Since I bought my coach 2013 Georgetown XL, I have had this problem, one way of solving it all we had all the littles filtered removed, but we also had the toilet changed and now my toilet is getting no water at all. Do you know if there is a spot we can force air through to blow out all the toilet lines

You could hook a compressor to your city water inlet,,, and use maybe about 40 psi,,, But I am guessing there is a problem with your new potty,,,
maybe some thing in the line,,, that should be checked first !!!
PS: you would drain all the water out first !!!
